About Me

I have been working as a Visual Designer since 1999, and as a User Experience/Interaction Designer since 2006. In this time I have run my own freelance consultancy, working for agencies and direct clients on projects such as Microsoft, Washington Mutual (now Chase), Virgin Mobile, Symantec, and Pottery Barn/West Elm.

I studied Fine Arts at the University of the Philippines and finished with a Visual Design Degree from California State Hayward, graduating magna cum laude. I live and work in San Francisco.

On nice sunny days you might find me poring over a good book in one of the coffee shops around Nob Hill.

About this Site

This site uses the widely available and free tools from flowplayer.org and as such, will not work on older browsers ( *cough* IE6). The CSS specifies images with transparencies that older browsers may not be able to support. If you have at least Internet Explorer 8, this site will render properly.

Frank Herbert wrote:

"But one learns from books and reels only that certain things can be done. Actual learning requires that you do those things."

and I find that so very true in the crafting of this site. I wanted a site that had a little bit of interactivity without Flash, and a site that showcased an interesting, unique look through in-depth use of CSS. Most of all, I wanted a site that highlighted my passion and dedication to detail.

Much gratitude to these sites, for pointing me in the right direction:
